Happy Valentine’s Day!!! (suckers!)
The Hallmark holiday has come. Why does it have to be one day where we are reminded to tell our significant other (or others for the adventurous) that we love them? My plan for this day is as follows:
1. Wake up to alarm.
2. Go to the gym and work out. Possibly do some speedplays on the treadmill as it is freezing outside.
3. Stretch, shower and get ready for school.
4. Eat a decent breakfast as I wait for my car to heat up. (Thank you remote car starter!)
5. Get to school, go for a run after and then get ready for work tonight.
6. Do not celebrate Valentine’s today at all!
I am already at step five of my plan which it seems, is coming to fruition. I don’t need one day to remind me of my love. I can do that any day. I told Darryl not to get me anything today, not even a flower. Don’t treat this day any more special than the previous days.

that’s not good. even though Valentine’s is a manufactured holiday for profit by corporations you should still at least give him a hug or something. You don’t have to do the whole cliche flowers and chocolate bit but something special should be done
I made a poem to Melanie with picture of pugs (she loves pugs) and posted on my blog. It was best I could do with long distance and all.

Well, I don’t do the whole flowers/candy thing on this day. I’m not trying to be problematic. I just don’t want to be reminded of one day where I have to show my love. I did hug him and gave him a hug as usual. I do not fall short when it comes to public/private displays of affection. It’s nothing out of the ordinary. I told him no cards or chocolate. We are going to do our special day on Friday. We are getting dressed up and going on a fancy date. Pictures to come. I finally hope to wear that dress I bought in Dubai.

My white monkey keeps telling me, EVERYDAY IS SPECIAL, but I always insist, my birthday is only on one certain day of August! Maybe because I’m home once in a blue moon, call for my caregiving job.
I work, called to greet him, but went out the day before with my old lady and her friend to lunch due to the windy, icy, snowy WEDNESDAY!
We have our own way of celebrating it. Staying, fit, alert, just be YOU & HIM is another way of indulging one’s heart.Hope you both enjoyed.
